Membership, events and welfare.
MSSN LAUTECH is the central, unifying umbrella body for all Muslim students on campus. We do not operate on sectarian, tribal or factional lines. As long as you are a Muslim student at LAUTECH, this is your home. Our programmes are designed to unite the Ummah upon the foundational teachings of the Qur'an and the Sunnah, fostering brotherhood and sisterhood across the entire campus.
Our core values are rooted in academic excellence, moral uprightness and peaceful coexistence. We strictly promote the pristine Islamic principle of Wasatiyyah (moderation and balance). MSSN LAUTECH is fully recognised by the university administration, and we actively encourage our members to be law-abiding citizens, top-performing students and positive contributors to the university community and society at large.
Islam teaches excellent character (Akhlaq) towards everyone, and that is what we practise. We pride ourselves on being an open, welcoming and highly supportive community. Whether through our open academic tutorials, welfare assistance or campus-wide community service, our doors and resources are open to help students collaborate, learn and grow together without prejudice.
Membership is completely free! There are absolutely no registration forms to buy to become a member. Every Muslim student admitted into LAUTECH is automatically recognised as a member of the society. Online sign-up for your free member profile is coming soon. While membership is free, members can voluntarily pay their annual society dues to support our projects, but this is entirely different from buying a form to join.
Dues are set each session by the executive council; ask the Financial Secretary for this session's amount. They fund welfare, Da'wah and learning programmes.
Events that need registration say so on their page. Online registration with QR tickets is coming soon; until then, register through your directorate or Faculty GC.
The Sisters' Circle runs dedicated programmes for sisters. General events have separate seating for brothers and sisters.
